There aren't Lithuanians in Canada. I would have been up for a trip to Lithuania just to watch. Canada also means you may be more jet-lagged and spend longer without proper food. Think it's about two hours to Lithuania, and about 9-10 to Canada.

Weren't the IPF Commonwealths in Canada a couple of months ago?

Hi Funky, It's a shame really, Lithuania would have turned into a family vacation, Calgary will most likely be a fly in and out!

Monday 22nd.

I'm travelling a lot on business at the moment and only getting around 1 session a week! Yesterday was a quickie at the Farm where only 5 lifters turned out.
Weight 113.7 / Blood 13.4 - much too high.

Front Squat.
It's the Farms "Lift of the month" and as I'm not likely to be back in February I thought I'd better get some in.

Friday 26th.

Spent over seven hours behind the wheel driving back from a business trip to Glasgow today so not expecting much again.
Blood Sugar 10.4 / Bodyweight 114.5, getting too chubby again.
Just 6 lifters at the Farm tonight!

Deadlift.

Everything came up but I tired quickly, I've been suffering with a stuffy headcold all week and that had a negative effect on breathing and recovery between sets.

No training on Monday, I had a full day of meetings in London and did not get home until nearly 7 so I binned the gym!

Just 5 lifters at the Farm tonight, as a club we are slowly fading away.

Bench press is the Farms lift of the month for March so I thought I'd see where I am at the moment, considering that I only managed 117.5 in March 2015 I've made a little progress, in fact this is probably my biggest bench since the slap tear in 2011. Satisfied!

Many thanks for the nice comments chaps. I'm not sure if the shoulder has healed or if I'm just getting used to the pain, either way benching is more comfortable at the moment, that said the left side is still about 5kg stronger than the right and locks out with ease whilst the right has to be ground out!

Friday 4th March.

Bodyweight 113.9kg, too fat really. Blood Sugar 11.9, not good.

Your observations are sharp Bill.
At the moment I'm probably averaging less than 1 squat and deadlift session per week, bizarrely my deadlift is improving from the drop in sessions whilst me squat, as you say, has fallen off a cliff.

To make up for the lack of sessions at the Farm I'm going to a poncy gym more often mainly to do cardio, however they do have a bench and bar. Consequently the temptation to show off to the glove/vest/curling community proves difficult to resist, the result is that I'm now benching 4-5 times a week and the results are there to be seen.

Wednesday 16th March.

Only 6 lifters at the Farm. Training without my knee sleeves tonight, I had a bottle of water in my kit bag which leaked over everything. Wet belt, wet deadlift slippers and wet wrist wraps were just about manageable however I decided that wet knee sleeves were too much.
Blood Sugar 11.5, still too high.
Bodyweight 114.2Kg, still too high.

Comfortable, could well have knocked out 5x190 or even 3x200 but decided to stick with the program.
