Was a grinder last rep though! Pushdowns 120lbs x 12 150lbs x 10 180lbs x 8,8 Actually tend to feel these a lot in my chest, not really sure what tricep iso to go with at the mo Chin-ups Bodyweight x 10,10 Easy, would have added weight if I'd had my dip belt with me Preacher curls 25kg x 10 35kg x 5,5,5 DB curls 20kg's x 12,12 Time to rest, feel worn out atm | ||

Plus the plates I were using were slightly smaller than normal so this was like a .5" deficit deadlift, max has to be 220kg+ right now Rack pull (height around 19-20", slightly lower than last time) 120kg x 3 170kg x 3 210kg x 3 240kg x 3 265kg x 1 - felt very heavy!! Tbf I think it's the heaviest weight I've ever moved in any shape or form Regret doing these, didn't feel I gained much from them and it might hamper my recovery for squats in two days :/ T-bar rows 25kg x 10 50kg x 10 70kg x 10 85kg x 10 PB 95kg x 8 PB Lat pulldown 130lbs x 10 150lbs x 10 165lbs x 8,8 PB DB preacher curls 10kg x 10 each arm 14kg x 7 each arm 14kg x 6 each arm 14kg x 6 each arm These seem to be a lot easier with my right arm :/ | ||

Plus back was in bits from yesterday's deadlifts, so there's definitely more there fresh. Was beat after this so just did a bunch of isolation work for shoulders to finish off Upright rows 4x8-10 Lateral raises 3x8 Facepulls 5x10-12 Reverse pec dec 3x10-12 Training is going great, feeling unstoppable atm. Think I'm gonna enter Rotherham's strongest man U105 as well, the weights are very heavy for me but I'm hoping that'll help me keep my focus in training | ||

Looking forward to resting tomorrow then will have last events sesh at YST on Saturday. | ||

Think I'll skip deadlifts for this week's back day and replace them with squats to get one last heavy squat workout in before comp a week on Saturday. | ||

Didn't want to do anything too heavy though so capped it at 180. Deadlift (very slight deficit again) 70kg x 6 100kg x 4 120kg x 2 140kg x 2 160kg x 2 180kg x 8 PB 165kg x 10 PB Rack pull from 19-20" ish 150kg x 6 190kg x 5 220kg x 8 Confident now that I'll be able to pull 300kg for reps from 21", these all felt very easy even after high rep pulls from the floor Chin-ups BW x 5 +10kg x 5 +20kg x 5 +25kg x 4 PB but wasn't very happy with this, wanted 5 T-bar rows 50kg x 5 70kg x 5 90kg x 5 105kg x 5 PB 105kg x 5 Grip is starting to become the limiting factor here Lat pulldown 150lbs x 10 175lbs x 8 175lbs x 8 Underhand lat pulldown 190lbs x 6 190lbs x 7 | ||

Also wanted to get at least one run with farmers at competition weight or higher. Squat 60kg x 5,5 90kg x 3 120kg x 2 140kg x 1 150kg x 1 160kg x 1 170kg x 1 140kg x 2,2,2,2,2,2 Farmers walk (runs of 30m, drop & turn @ 15m) 57.5kg 77.5kg 92.5kg 105kg PB Happy with this, wasn't a max effort but partially tore a callous so left it there Glute ham raise BW + mini bands x 12,12 BW + red bands x 12 PB Calf raises 120kg x 12 130kg x 12 135kg x 12 Decent, going to do some light(ish) pressing tomorrow then pretty much going to rest up until Saturday | ||
