Very good day today, first real events session I've ever done, enjoyed it a lot. Feel very confident now about weights I've got in comp, but also slightly broken after all the work I've put in lol

Today was okay, deadlifts were hard towards the latter sets but got through it. On reflection it feels like I may have done a little too much fluff work towards the end of the session, think I'd be better off doing less movements and putting more into the heavy lifting. Also, seeing as it's my day off work and I was disappointed with Tuesday's pressing, I might squeeze in a bit of push pressing and benching tonight. I'll have to see how I feel.

Was thinking up some goals for myself this year, would really like to hit

Been reading a lot of Graham Hicks's old journals on here, really motivating to see what he's been able to do would love to follow in his footsteps

Did these because I fancy doing a comp where there's a 300kg deadlift for reps from 21". First time trying this, based on how they felt I could probably pull 300 for at least 1 from this height.
