Member 4923, 1795 posts | Wouldn't fancy arm wrestling myself. Was watching the strongman special on channel 5 the other night. Some of the events from the 70's look suicidal! The one where Columbo wrecked his leg was horrible, basically running along in a good morning position with a huge fridge on your back. Next stop snap city.

I agree about Tom stoltman, he was unlucky not to beat Luke at the Scottish last year and lost out due to one bad event. Big Zake muluzi who was third at scotland's strongest man could do some damage too. I don't like the current format which seems to be all English guys with the odd token Scottish or Irish guy in there. Mark Jeanes was the guy I was trying to think of. Personally I think he deserves a go. Do they have 12 or 10 competitors for giants live? I also agree with those saying Tom Stoltman deserves an invite. Be good to have a Scot doing well on the world scene.

I don't no about Arm wrestling but I would like to see a combat style event. I liked the "sweeter snatcher" event Glenn Ross ran in the UKs one year.

Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22018 posts | I like arm wrestling. Think it would be a good event for me if I was still an u105 also ran competitor and it cropped up.

AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5206 posts | Devon Larrat is the man pulling against Thor. Devon is one of the top guys. He is a great endurance wrestler. If you don't beat him quickly, you're f**ked.

Haha It terms of strength for arm wrestling he for sure is, he's one of the best arm wrestlers ever an actually still not over an injury. He used to be a lot heavier/stronger before the injury. I don't know how to link videos but if you search devon larrat on youtube theres a video near the top of him on some kind of sports/news show arm wrestling a former football player who is taller than larrat (6 foot 5) an obviously a lot heavier an the football player uses two arms an ends up with his feet off the deck dangling on larrats arm an it does nothing, larrat plays with him.

I believe Loz is down to compete at the Britain's so he must think there is something left in the tank. Hixxy has a back injury I believe and won't be fit for the Britain's at least. He was back training before that though.
