I seem to spend a lot of time making my own equipment and thinking of new things I can make that won't cost much. Do any of you make your own equipment?

Here are a few I've been working on recently. I was going to put them in my log but thought I might as well start a topic, and it might give someone an idea of something they can add to there home gym.

Good stuff Paul!
That peg board looks good, I'd probably rag it off the wall though if I could actually hold my self up as I'm such a fat b*stard... Grin
Quite a bit of work has gone into all that I imagine!

Cheers matey. I doubt you'd be able to get it off the wall even at your enlarged size Wink The pulley system has a 2nd pulley for doing low rows but I couldn't be arsed to set it up just for a photo. I've got loads of other stuff I've made in the past but I did all this lot over the last couple of weeks. Got a few more things I'm working on too. Putting my OCD to good use Tongue

This stuff all looks quality mate! In fact, your garage is better equipped than 50% of the gyms I've trained at! Grin

Cheers matey. It definitely gets harder to leave my garage to train anywhere else as I have most things covered Wink

Cheers. No I'm not, I just like to give things a go and have taught myself some basics over the years.

I plan on learning to weld so hopefully I'll be able to get a bit more adventurous with what I make.

Nice equipment sir. Frame carry? The land mine is really cool,I make all my equipment. A 2 in 1 farmers that you can bolt unto a frame carry is ace.
I also want to weld bars on an Olympic bar to make a safety squat bar. You need a huge anchor chain. This can develop into a sickness. Well if you are ever stuck you can sell it or melt it.

I've got farmers, but I don't really use them much to be honest so a frame carry would probably not get used if I made it. I've already got a safety bar, and I don't use that enough these days. I'm just trying to make things that don't take up much space but allow me to vary my training as much as possible.
