Yeah, I read that you shouldn't lock out. I would do three-quarter reps with a moderate weight, with a brief pause at the three-quarter position.

Yes do that. Maybe even use a light weight instead of moderate

I'm not really sure weather I should log forays training or not.

Not a slingle powerlifting was done, I suppose I did chest, shoulders, triceps and then cardio which I then negated by eating some doughnuts.

This seems like the kind of thing that no one wants to read in my journal so for now at least, this could be the end of ksohhjjkk. Unless it goes off on a tangent....

RIP in peace

I'm gutted for you mate. Genuinely.
I honestly believe the best course of action is to quit heavy squats and deads. Life is long (and short). An 80 year back pain would be a c**t.

The stage beckons. Bodybuilding!

I want to be aesthetic but competitive bodybuilding doesn't really appeal to me. I don't like the idea of going down to 3% body fat and then dehydrating, Ican't imagine how that would feel.

I would prefer to be an alive zyzz

Did your shoulder training consist of raises?

I trained "back and biceps" today bit nothing worth mentioning except from a fairly easy 40kg x 30 db row with straps, which I think is quite impressive even if I say so myself (though the reps were a little bit cheaty).

I bought an interesting book yesterday, South, which is about Ernest Shackleton's expedition to Antarctica.

Heaviest weight used was 15kg DBs. The competition bench press was becoming but I shunned it in an act of sensibility.

cable Flies
Db incline
Shallower db incline
Machine thing
Cable side raises
Machine thing
Machine thing
Db shoulder press
Tricep thing
Tricep thing

Cardio

I'm actually finding this enjoyable reading. When is the grip specialism commencing?

Oh yeah I keep meaning to do that. I actually injured one of my fingers while rubbing my hands together excitedly after making the decision to have a cup of tea. I think it's better now though. I Will commence right now with several sets of finger extensions
