Speaking of benching and belts...what's the reason for wearing one ? (Of not wearing a shirt and keeping it in place)

I've just spoken to Mr STD and they are just setting up production, so it will not be advisable for a few months yet

probably just protection and to keep core tight when arching. I bench close grip and don't wear wrist wraps or bother arching.

Possibly I'd have a bigger bench if I learned to arch properly but f**k it, I like doing it with a flat back.

Is this the rule? If you have a belt that is on the approved list but doesn't have a logo, there will be no benefit of the doubt given?

Or keep the receipt

Does the belt need a small 'IPF approved' logo on it to be allowed in competition ?

also , any such rules for singlets ?

Dont think so as long as they are recognisable as something off the list below.

New rules arent being enforced at local level as far as im aware. Just at nationals & internationals.

At BarLoaded we have just started selling IPF approved Iron Tanks lever belts in the UK, very firm similar to Inzer.

Anybody know the best place to source an IPF legal quick release prong type belt at a reasonable price? I love the one I have but there are no markings on it so not even sure what make it was so not IPF legal.

Something like this - http://www.pullum-sports.co.uk/belts/powerlifting-belts/titan-longhorn-quick-release-belt/prod_1009.html - only in stock. (and cheaper would be good but I know probably not likely)
