No challenge for him? Happy

I know he focuses on equipped so this is a bit of "ifs and buts"....but I would like to see him go toe - to - toe with Williams, Sumner, Ueppa et al at the Classic one year.

I've seen it mentioned that his knees are causing him problems (there was even talk of retirement), but this is just hearsay from another board

Absolutely no idea - not sure if he even does them (to any serious degree).

There is some info detailing his training floating around the net - there's at least a couple of interviews with Wolf etc - so if I get a chance I'll have a look and get back to you.

I think TC will beat Dean based on his All England performance. He was wearing an old, fairly loose suit and squatted 380 with ease.

What would you guess his best raw lifts being?

I honestly couldn't tell you what I would squat raw right now, so it's hard to gauge for a purely equipped lifter...

That sounds about right - I remember his Coach saying that his knees were almost always a problem for him.

I would be surprised if he had done any heavy raw lifts for a while given his injuries last couple of years. Maybe lots of just wrap work in there.

I would assume if he could train for it his raw squat would be impressive at the very least Happy

I spoke to CYC's coach Dietmar the other week, he's had a problem with his knee but is recovering well. He's still handling reasonable weights, he's going to build up to do something later next year.
