My body HAS been taking a beating, but hopefully it's getting used to it now. The weights are only baby weights anyway... for now!

Not done much over the last couple of weeks - just been too busy. I did a clean and jerk session where I worked up to 105kg x 3 PB and 112.5kg single.

since then I've lost focus and become disheartened.

I'm taking ANOTHER break from weightlifting, as I just don't have the time to commit to it properly at the moment.

So the plan is to try and get in the garage as often as possible but just for a quick blast. I trained on Friday and did:

Bench press
60kg x 8
70kg x 8
80kg x 8
90kg x 8
95kg x 6
80kg x 8

Chins (underhand grip)
BW x 8, 8, 8, 8, 12

Abmat sit-up
10, 10, 10

Then, yesterday (Saturday) I did:

Squat (high bar)
60kg x 8
100kg x 8
120kg x 8
140kg x 8

Seated DB press
25kg x 8, 8, 8, 18

Farmers shrug
50kg x 25, 20, 25

I'll try and pop in today at some point for some chins and dips.

I had a similar problem finding the time to do (and learn) weightlifting mate. Lifestyle only allowing 2-3 days training so decided just to get stronger on the basics which allows me to keep training time down.

Yeah, something had to give. I wanted to train for 4x per week for 1.5-2 hours each time, but I simple didn't have the time.

I tried to condense it to 3x per week for 1 hour 15 mins but even then I struggled.

My new style of training means I can be in and out in 30 mins whereas I used to spend at least 20 mins warming up! I'm much more likely to actually stick to this, rather than just not bothering.

Nothing exciting going on in here. A few BBing sessions, that's all.

One session was chins, dips and sit ups for 5 X 10.

Then I did front squat up to130 X 5, seated do press up to 30 X 8, then 12. Farmers shrug 60kg X 15 (3 sets) + 40kg curls (like 21s but 30s).

Somewhere in the last couple of weeks was chins, dips and sit ups for 3 X 12i ncline bench 80 X 8, 85 X 8 deadlift 150 X 5, 5.

I then did CGBP up to 95kg X 8, chins up to +20kg X 8, incline do press 30kg X 8, 10, 12 + incline db rows for the same.

Last session was incline bench 90 X 8, 95 X 5, deadlift up to 160 X 5, chins, dips and sit ups 4 X 12

Might have missed something but that's pretty much it.
