No, not that I recall. I suppose they would rather have the likes of me in front of them where they can keep an eye on me rather that behind them where I could be up to anything and they could not see. I have no idea what they think that I may do, and long since gave up wondering, but whatever it is they are wrong. I do seem to be generally viewed with suspicion though.

I suspect that the major parties could do a straight swap of policies and a large percentage of the voting public would still stick with their habitual choices. They may have done this already in fact.

I live in a constituency that is very much towards one party whereas I always vote for one of the others. It rather saddens me when people tell me (and a lot do) that they have always voted for party "X" and that they always will. I prefer to make my mind up on an election by election basis, which I believe is the only sensible option. I do seem to be in the minority though Fickle is the way to be, loyalty gets punished. I agree, but as a constituency we are a safe seat. One party does nothing as they know that they could put a couple of housebricks up and they would vote for them, and the others do nothing as they know they can't win. You can't educate pork as the old saying goes.

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17870 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | Physio tonight, the back was ok and needed minimal thrutching and banging, and I had some work done on the right shoulder which hurt rather a lot so should pay dividends. I also picked the man's brains on a couple of other matters which has given food for thought.

Sugdens crazy old person. Member 4936, 7288 posts SQ 270, BP 155, DL 270695.0 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | When I was a growing up broke and going to college, I couldn't afford a new pair of tennis shoes, wrestling shoes etc... I learned that duct tape worked wonders from leaving me shoeless. It never once bothered me. I didn't care and thought it was what it was. The price of shoes now. Some guy told me today that you can tell alot about a man by the shoes he wears. They make wedding dresses and clothes out of duct tape now. It also comes in many colors. Times they are a changing. We were reminiscing at work the other day about smoking at work, that lead us onto changing attitudes, the biggest changes in our opinion have been to - Attitudes to women at work (now much more respected) Smoking while pregnant (now utterly taboo) Drinking while pregnant (as above) Drink driving (now not tolerated) Drinking yourself into oblivion (now, strangely in my view, very much tolerated)
