beer drinking and smoking is just not on mate.

Chances are there is some others who dont like the way things are, you think you could just pair up with someone and get some focus on the training with that person?

Good training partner(s) is a big part of solid good gains I think.

Christ, yes, that is a while. Even I would have finished that sort of volume in about an hour.

well If I think of it, they all love this casual approach, but I have had enough of this crap, I might try and tempt Funky Monkey from PLUK to team up for all our training session.

Looking at it, that's got to be 45 minutes to an hour between sets. You may as well not bother warming up!

I like a chat and a rest as much as the next man and quite a lot more than most, but, like you said, that's f**ked up.

Deadlifts + chains
65x6,115x4,155x3,195x2,225,250x5F

f**ked up my back on the last rep, so I dropped it, felt I was pulling a bit unbalanced so I reset the bar, in hindsight I should have just left it at 4 reps but I was amped up at the time, now I'm paying the price for it with a sore back.

Had to go without chalk as the guys that usually bring it are away for the european masters, though it meant the session went through quicker!! Going to stay with them for the deadlift and get my squats sessions elsewhere as the coach has a 320kg pb at 80kg bodyweight, and has really helped me with the deads.

I dont think ive ever seen 170 look so easy !!

I guess with chains its even easier to become unbalanced, looked very strong though mate

thanks mate, yea that is one of the dangers of the chains, it can very easily pull you off balance which can be great for building up your core or f**king it up in my case Tongue

yea the gym in this complex, good atmosphere, lots of national track and field athletes as well, matter of fact you have be a competitive athlete to use the gym, so it a pretty serious crowd.

rick - well I do get the odd complains from ladies after hand shakes

tokar - boxers, track athletes, powerlifters, etc.....not that they do actually check!
