I'm struggling to close a level 3.

I can get a decent half squeeze but alas, no closure.
On the upside, not a single person in my office can even move them - about 30 people (29 old women).

Anybody got any videos of closing STRENGTHSHOP grippers?
I could only find C.O.C videos (lol - I said coc)

The 3 is really difficult!

Edit: My 3 is Coc, I have the 2.5 strengthshop one and it is about a quarter stronger than the CoC 2

so there is hope for me Grin Grin

I've been on it all morning, which probably isn't smart as I'm working grip and deadlift tonight. I had this badboy within we believe 5 cm of closure and shook like a mofo. I can't repeat that now though.

I love the idea of grip but never felt it was something that should really be worked on much.

The SS 3 is a legit gripper. Its no surprise most folk cant do it. Most folk cant close a ss 1.5! I know this because that was my first gripper and i got a load of guys to try it (most of whom work semi physical jobs) and only 1 succeeded (former blacksmith, he also crushed a CoC 2 fairly easily with no prep or chalk)

It's a tough call. I don't know the ideal way to train for grip as I never really have. So, I'm just squeezing these things intermittently when I feel like it for a few half reps. One of the few times I think I'll do half reps - when I'm not capable of closing the damn thing Grin

Bump

I have found an interest in grip as it's half decent.

Was able to rep a 2 starting strength gripper with both hands when I first tried.

I have also closed a 2.5

I have now ordered a coc 2.5 and hope to move on to a 3 later in the year.

I take it, there is a significant difference between coc and other grippers accuracy?
