Let's face it though, Saville was untouchable at the height of his career. He rubbed shoulders with royalty, politicians, had a set of keys for Broadmoor, was a tv celebrity and was pretty much a national hero. I'd imagine a lot of the people who knew what was going on didn't feel like they'd be listened to.

He was one of only two people to ever get an honorary green beret, I believe. It's horrendous to think he might have been noncing around the commando training school. Some of the young lads in training there are under 18 and I had to be CRB checked when I went back to work there as a trained rank. It may have happened, and given the macho atmosphere of the place it'd be a brave lad who'd come forward and say he's been fondled by a 'national treasure'. It's a shame the f**ker didn't fall off one of the tors out on dartmoor and break his nonce spine.
