What are your main goals for 2015?

Would be good to post them here and look back in a years time to see which ones you have hit.



Here are mine:

2015 Goals

Win a BDFPA British Powerlifting Title.

Place Top 3 in a BDFPA European Powerlifting Championship.

Place Top 5 in a BDFPA World Powerlifting Championship.

Represent GB in a Powerlifting Championship.

Buy a new home.

Race 5 official 100m races.

Run 100m PB.

Set a new 500m Erg PB.

Set a new 1000m Erg PB.

Squat 240kg.

Bench Press 165kg.

Deadlift 275kg.

Clean & Press 110kg.

Full Extension Wide Arm Pull-ups x 20

That's a wide range of goals John!

Return to lifting following shoulder surgery.
Return to judo following surgery.

Squat 220kg
Bench 80kg
Deadlift 260kg

Total 550kg+ in a meet.
Total 550kg + at the British championships in October.

Pass exams in the summer.

Have a considerably greater work capacity by the end of the year.
Perhaps look a bit more like I lift, and overall more athletic.
Enjoy it so I am more likely to still be doing this in 10 years.

For 2015 I would like to:

300kg deadlift
260+ squat
Strict press 120
P/press 140
Finally load the 160 stone
Comp. Wise:
Qualify for bsm u90
Make top 10 at Ssm u105
Do an SCL u90 comp.
Put on the first and best Scotlands Natural Strongest Man.

Think mine are laid out in my log, but only thought as far as the start of the competition season in May, for the year as a whole i'll be targeting:

Deadlift 360+,
DOH 160+ on 60mm axle,
Close a COC 3.0,
Squat 330+ in wraps,
Log 150+,
Yoke 500kg x 20m with no more than 1 drop,
Improve fitness, and prove this by rowing 500m sub 1m25s.

Keep fit, healthy and agile! Make sure to do my circuits 3x a week

Sit at around 89kg @ 10% bf for most the year . Last time I checked was 96kg @ 19% so puts me around 88 for 10% ATM.

Well, after mrs boar became preggers, I changed my goals to fit around not being able to get out of the house as much ......


2015

Complete IronmanUK.

Compete in a GBPF comp and qualify for the British Classic 2016


Also some basic lifts of (around):

180kg squat

120kg bench

220kg deadlift

80kg strict overhead

Im going to have a fairly quiet time competing wise.

Main aim is to keep my body composition heading in the right direction.

Currently sat at 148/9 consistently, which is a far cry from the 176 man child I was 12 months ago.

in not concerned by my lifts anymore, I'll be WSM before in done, I'll just keep plugging away until I get there, time is on my side.

Not much different from last years goal which went to pot, not get injured and train consistently. Be a miracle if that happens
