Better your GP's time than your money. Some of them are quite good with illnesses, disorders and injuries too.

Ten years later and I still have fluid in there.

Do you find your knee wants to click, then you put your hand on your kneecap, flex, extend a few times and it clicks? The knee that hasn't had an MRI on it has started doing that, and the torn/worn out confirmed with MRI one has done that for ages. See a go and get him to refer you to a free physio.

Ten years, do you just kinda get used to it? That’s pretty much what it does yeh. If it hasn’t moved in a while then it will click itself the next time it moves without any encouragement. Otherwise it’s exactly as you’ve described it. I’d completely forgotten that you can get referrals through your GP for a pyhsio, thanks for reminding me!

Always hurts, but now that's normal. I found cissus to give some relief. Don't take my Flaxseed oil religiously any more.

Quick question - if you had a meniscal tear a few weeks ago, how do you know it's healed? You sure it's a proper tear and it's healed? Two MRI's in a few weeks?

I had fluid on my knee, from kneeling down. I had it drained and cortisone injected in and within a few days it was much better. within 2 weeks it had gone right down.

Every 6 months my knee swells. I seen people with bubble lumps but this in not my case. My knee get larger and tight. It becomes slightly larger than the other knee cortisone then back to good for 6 months.
