Chicken nuggets and chips. Put cheese and jalapenos on the chips.

Do you do anything to thicken the stew, Dave?

Yea, took out the lamb and veg, and plated it up. Then put a couple of ladels of the broth in a jug and thickened it up with gravy granules, cornflour and added some more mint sauce before serving.

The rest of the broth is in the fridge for cooking with in the week Happy

Fried off some chorizo, spring onions, baby plum tomatoes and turkey mince, then served in tortilla wraps with a little grated cheddar. Made some for my snap tomorrow too Happy

Have been remiss with my posting of late. Not been cooking much. Couple of pub lunches recently:

Top row, Farmer's Arms: an exceptionally good, cheesy, macaroni cheese, and a special bacon sandwich (with baconnaise, bacon jam, and bacon cheese fries). Bottom row, by the open fire at the Yew Tree: black pudding bonbons with apple and mayo, then steak and blue cheese sandwich.

Tuesday I was supposed to be at a meeting of Sausage Club Of Manchester, but it was canceled for lack of ticket sales (f**king heathens). So a few of us had sausage pie with a superb suet crust at Iain's (Drunken Butcher's) place instead.

I have some of that in the fridge for my supper tonight Happy.

Fetch me the Kleenex! The only f**kin sausages we can get out here are the vilest things made out of chicken ring piece and claws:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cZIqNfhf6Vk/T7WIvU81RzI/AAAAAAAACfY/...

Or generic beef sausages that i'm sure don't contain any meat just camel hump and sand!!!!!

Produce of France, don't know how many French camels/sand you've seen.... Most likely horse.
