Then put a couple of ladels of the broth in a jug and thickened it up with gravy granules, cornflour and added some more mint sauce before serving. The rest of the broth is in the fridge for cooking with in the week

I am a bench-only guy Member 3, 10034 posts SQ 185, BP 175, DL 235595.0 kgs @ 140kgs UnEq Administrator | Have been remiss with my posting of late. Not been cooking much. Couple of pub lunches recently: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LHo2Z5WBLj8/VEjStk_TrqI/AAAAAAAABJU/Gle9iqr3C4Y/s640/PhotoGrid_1414058539996.jpg Top row, Farmer's Arms: an exceptionally good, cheesy, macaroni cheese, and a special bacon sandwich (with baconnaise, bacon jam, and bacon cheese fries). Bottom row, by the open fire at the Yew Tree: black pudding bonbons with apple and mayo, then steak and blue cheese sandwich. Tuesday I was supposed to be at a meeting of Sausage Club Of Manchester, but it was canceled for lack of ticket sales (f**king heathens). So a few of us had sausage pie with a superb suet crust at Iain's (Drunken Butcher's) place instead. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jtH4AxwJvEY/VEjVo8_H2OI/AAAAAAAABJg/aLGl5ckFjmI/s640/PhotoGrid_1413931565490.jpg I have some of that in the fridge for my supper tonight .
