I think 240 is a very good target to aim for... It may be a key number of Sinclair points or something it kind of sounds like it is a benchmark of some description.

110 130 @85 is that do able?

Having watched the video I must say I can't fault that lift

As the weight gets heavier you can try to drive upwards more instead of forwards... But having said that the video shows perfect bslance between the two

I guess it's time to start squatting again and watch your total raise as your squat does


I snatched 95kg this week and was chuffed with how it felt do I know how your will feel about your personal best

Im presuming this phillipe dude has never done proper weightlifting smalls, as that lift was 'loose' at best and dangerous at worse.

Thank you friends. And superfriend Boar. Killing it with kindness! I was pleased with the lift.

PhillipeMike, 240-250 is the short term goal sure, 110/130 is in my muscles but not all joined together. Although as you well know, you set a goal, you reach it, then it becomes insignificant so I will keep working as I am. With regards to Sinclair, 251 is 300 sinclair, 255 is Russian candidate for master of sports, 239 is English standard and 252 British so around these numbers there are a few little milestones for a beginner lifter like myself. Happy

If I can snatch 110 at current strength levels then I don't think there is really anything to worry about technically, there is a tiny bit of looping back at the top of the pull as you say but I am not missing anything because of it and it is nowhere near as bad as what it used to be.
