Do you find that you also get weaker on a bulk? If this is true why as a strength trainer would you ever not be on a cut?

No, why would i get weaker on a bulk? I would only cut for fat loss / to make a weight class.

Paul let me get this one straight.

aren't you a vegeterian/vegan? Aren't you against animal fats and protein, for various reason you mentioned much earlier, not least the fact that animals are really muscular and don't eat meat mostly? If so, how are you no carbing? what do you actually eat in a day?

Am veggie yeah. Not no carbs, low carbs. Am generally eating quorn, veg, whey protein, peanut butter, eggs and cheese, with one proper carb meal a day which is usually either oats, bread, pasta or rice.

No, how do you even know what you learnt was true? What because who you learnt it off had a degree? How do you know what they learnt was true? Some of the smartest people around once thought the world was flat, you need to know for yourself, and you wont know until you have put something into action. Bro science means f**k all.

So what is it that you dont eat? Red meat and poultry?

I think some of the confusion is around your definition of low carb not being the norm, same with fasted.

Also the definition of broscience is exactly what you described, ignoring educated people's opinions. Youre an unconventional rogue thats for sure Paul!

That makes zero sense, i'm saying do trial an error yourself rather than bro science this guy says that guy says stuff.

I don't eat any meat, fish or animal products - this goes for all veggies

Why would you get stronger on a cut?

Because of my nutrition choices and my training. If i lose fat and not muscle, why would i lose strength? Especially when i'm strength training that doesn't make sense. I should only lose strength if i lose muscle.

Sometimes the alertness associated with a calorie defecit or ketogenic state can translate to short-term strength gains. Fasting also increases HGH. I think it'd be rare to gain strength on a cut long-term though. Surely all strength athletes would be ripped if this were the case... Grin

Well that's a really negative question as you don't need to lose muscle or strength, i always get stronger on a cut, but..
.

I should ignore the research right and f**k what I learnt in my degree?

Next time someone comes in septic or with a broken hip or with pneumonia or having had a cardiac arrest....

I should just try something and see if it works?
Not listen to science and studies that have informed my degree that allows me to actually save peoples lives?
