Thought I would have a go at some singles and see where was I at because my deadlifts have felt like crap lately and been slow between reps.

210x10 changed foot stance halfway through, felt much better and quicker

Need to pull my finger out and start working properly and stop being lazy. I'm going back to basics with deadlift and starting 5/3/1 again, start lighter and build up the reps and speed again.

Cheers. Not really sure, I might but I've got a bit of stuff to do because I'm away working next Sunday for a week so I've got stuff to sort out.

Lots of clean trying different techniques at lighter weights. Think I've found a variation that doesn't hurtHappy

Loading 15m to 48"
100kg Keg, 125kg sandbag, 120kg keg (slow)
100kg keg, 125kg sandbag, 120kg keg (bit faster)
100kg keg, 125kg sandbag, 120kg keg (messed up sandbag pick up, need to practice more)

Sandbag Carry

These are horrible, they just crush the breath out of you.

On the whole happy with this, arm behaved ok except for the messed up clean. The presses felt pretty easy even with fatigued legs from Fridays squats. I know what I need to work on now.

Stricts felt like s**t and were painful

110x1 push press, first time doing 110 on this axle.

100x1 p/press
110x1 p/press. 1st time hitting 110 since November last year.
115xf Elbows and wrists were sore by now. Think 115 is there fresh.

Close bench

120 3x3 need to repeat this next time, 3rd set was scrappy.

Incline press

70x10 last set was hard, chest and delts were really pumped.

Some positive pressing progress. Whilst the stricts felt like crap the jerks and push press were really fast and snappy, need to work on wrist flexibility they were getting sore too quickly especially with the axle.

Cheers Rodger, things are going well at the minute. Hopefully it will continue got 2 comps coming up.
