My exams finish around the end of this month and then I have loads of time off so I will probably have to get some kind of job which doesn't require qualifications. Does anyone have any experience with doing things of this nature but without having a horrible time? Also a similar question applies for once I have finished my degree. Are there any careers that make the person happy to get up every morning to do the job in question? thanks edit: can someone correct my typo in the title? | ||

Chase your passion, don't chase money. If you chase your passion you will have a much more fulfilling life and the money will come anyway. | ||

It's a sweet opportunity to pick up girls, and its good honest hard work. I also worked as a group worker in an after school autism club throughout uni. Pay was pretty decent, but working with kids or adults who go through the s**t those kids went through but are still happy and smiling all the time has a huge impact on you. Otherwise maybe look at working behind the desk in a gym? It would make it a lot easier to train regularly. EDIT: The above apply for during the summer. As for after uni, I think if you find a decent job and work until you're good at said job, you'll enjoy it. I don't think there are any jobs you just magically enjoy. When I started my year in industry I f**king hated being a Project Manager. Now I love that I wear a suit everyday, go into the city, and actually work on productive things. I'm working on building a huge SEN school at the moment, and I love every minute of it. I never thought I would though. | ||

Love my job and there are a tonne of opportunities in the field. Money isn't bad either, considering I can spend all day on the internet  I don't have a related degree or anything, it's one of those careers where a strong portfolio can open doors. | ||

The problem with being self employed is your always working. I never took holidays, i worked weekends and evenings if i had to. Then theres no work so your scratting about for work to pay the bills. All this is pointless if you love it i guess but theres more to life than work. Now i work for someone else, they cover the van, the tools. I take paid holidays and when i get home the fones off and i dont think about work. As long as you find something ok and the manager isnt a dick your laughing really IME | ||
