ah ok, does the lower position feel better for you squat generally if you take the flexibility issue out of the loop? i've been playing around with the bar position going for a lower position but i have to get the hands out as wide as they can go, even with the shoulder warm ups and strencting i do before and during my squat warm up.

have you got any tips?

It feels amazing. My problem with squats is always my upper body crumbles, but with the low bar it kinda locks my upper back in to position. I always thought low bar meant wide stance, but it turns out it doesn't lol.

I just jam it down there, first time doing it something in my right elbow went ping.

Now im just doing extra shoulder mob and seeing if I can make it work

him i'll try a narrower stance with them next time. but i hope the mobilty, stretching i'm doing helps in the long run

the car flip is a cool event, did it at the final in 08. really enjoyed it excpet i almost wiped out a small child after i crossed the finish line.

Saturdays training was a write off, hips so tight, couldn't squat 60kgs right

Today
Bench
135kg for 10, no pause for breath
155kg for 2, tng, really easy

Push press

Squats, just to try and loosen my hips off

As in 135/10 in the 1 breath hold?

thats a lot of breathing in. Up to 6 I feel strong. 8 I get scared and have to breath out






and im as you know an advocate of multiple squats a week. Time is your biggest enemy but if you fanny about with 100 just to keep your eye in every day you train it might help keep things loose in between each session proper

I meant no stop at the top to take a breath

This next month I will be hella busy, but I will probably try to light squat each day I'm in, see if it will make my hips more compliant

yeah. Just walk in go bar/5 60/5, 80/5 100/5. No rest. Warm all you up too. See how you feel


is it the dark? Weather hasnt been to bad yet

Yeah it's the dark, just about been taken out a number of times, and I'll be in till 8 most nights in December
