Back in UK though can't go wrong with a George Wrights or Hawkshead brewery ale! Some really good micro breweries cropping up as well that do some bloody good beer. My favourite is probably a beer brewed for Continental pub in preston by marcble brewery in manchester! It is the dogs cahoona's! | ||

Have to say Cider isn't my thing, tastes like piss to me. I had Anchor Steam in San Francisco, that was nice. Miller lager has to be a favourite as well, this could go on for a while and I'm not even a big drinker. | ||

Can we have a seperate thread for the educated please? You see, I know very little about beer now. Is lager the same as beer? Anyhoo - from a biased stance but I think is fair to say - Newcastle Brown Ale is the tits. Broon Ayl as it would be asked for. I heard a woman from Northampton ask for "Nookie" whilst in Newcastle, cleary trying to shorten it from Newcy... Anyway - nookie happens to be sex in Newcastle. Also, the Czech Budweiser is very nice. I also miss a pint of wife-beater. You get that on tap in France and it's really tasty. | ||
