hi there this is mark from york not kept a journal before thought i better start. i work silly hours so i am real random at getting me workouts in. thank you for any advice or encouragement.
this year i am looking to compete at either inter or open strongman events(if i can get my overhead and deadlift up to par)
today did events

80 kilo stone
3 sets to 66inch platform 1,1,1
3 sets to 54inch platform 2,2,3
120 kilo stone lapped it but biceps not stong enough to hold stone ta chest

farmers 100x40m
110x20m
120x20m
130x10m x2

big tyre not sure on weight 4 flips quite quick ta say legs start ta hurt

200x3 having trouble with these at moment think i put on to much weight over chrismas and my belt doesn,t fit properly any more so i can do a rep but cant get down again quickly to reset for next rep

not quite a prostitute but i hear the money is good

i make kit kat at nestle and these are the hours i work

day start all shifts are 12hours long
1 7am note ur first day off starts by u finishing at 7am in
2 7am morning so day so the day is practically wasted
3 7pm
4 7pm
5 off
6 off
7 off
8 off
9 off
10 7am
11 7am
12 7pm
13 7pm
14 7pm
15 off
16 off
17 off
18 off
19 7am
20 7am
21 7am
22 7pm
23 7pm
24 off
25 off
26 off
27 off
28 off
repeat until insane and u have no idea what day it is

trained this morning striaght after 12hour night shift. i looked and felt more up for it than any one else in the gym.
military press
40x5
60x5

followed by speed military press with woody bands (super mini ones)
20x3

30x3 smith machine lockout bring bar down till touches head (is a long way with ape arms)

box squats with super minis doubled over

speed deadlifts with super minis around the ends of barsto make like a big bow and then just stand on the bands

power cleans

90x2 x2 working on technique

rowing max distance in one min both sets 306 meters

13mins on treadmill varying incline and speed burned 344 cals could not feel my legs after about 3 mins could have been moonwalking along belt after that rowing

did a bit of conditioning work today
5 min run approx half a mile
circuit of;

one handed snatches 33x3reps per hand
60kg bar carry 20meters
lifting big bottle of water(30litres) like u would one motion a stone 10 reps
lateral raises 5kgx10
rear lateral 5kgx10
cgbp 45x20
one handed farmers used water bottle 20 meters each hand

reapeated run then circuit 2 more times
