Done a light/speed squat sesh on Saturday (with a belt) and then all week have felt a little uncomfortable (moving and breathing) on my lower right rib. Stupidly I did heavy strict OHP yesterday (felt fine at the time) and then couldnt sleep due to the pain and struggled to get out of bed this morning. I am in pain breathing, walking and generally any movement (its amazing how much you use your core in everything you do). There is no visible bruising or swelling so im confident its just something minor but just wanted anyones opinion.

embarrasingly poor bench Member 2684, 4043 posts SQ 240, BP 135, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | Could be a strained intercostal muscle (the little muscles between each rib). I have damaged one before and had similar symptoms. It sucked big time but just had to wait for it to get better over time.

Lovely ass Congrats. Member 5958, 2315 posts SQ 280, BP 170, DL 300750.0 kgs @ 138kgs UnEq | i think you would know. ive suffered some horrendous injurys through my previous employment and a broken rib is by far the most awkward and painful. i agree with the above. intercostal strains suck!
