Did anyone else weigh in lighter on the day??? i weighed myself the day before and i weighed 102kg, on the comp scales i weighed 100kg now this was disturbing for me as i thought f**k ive lost 2 kilos have i lost any strength. So i weighed myself the next day on 3 different scales and all said 102.4kg????????? just wondered if anyone else weighed in light?

your never get a true reading unless you get on a fresh set of calibrated scales. when iv worked in sick bays i found i can wiegh +/- 5kg even tho the scales are in date for calibration. the most precise reading your get it from medical scales calibated and serviced within 7day. you can expect upto +/-5to 10kg variation on your bathroom scales

I think that much variation would only aply to really cheap or knackered scales wouldn't it?

I've been using a fairly pricey Tanita set at work and have weighed exactly what I expected at each comp' I've been weighed at - 2 JT ran 105 comps and on callibrated scales at the BDFPA regional, brits & worlds (and they had defiantely only just been re-callibrated for the Brits).

Was anybody close to the 105 limit on Sunday?

Simon - I was 105 on my gyms fully calibrated scales on Saturday morning, so calibrated my won scales towrad that (I did a dehydration run through Friday night)

I was 105 at 0530 Sunday morning and 103.5 at the comp. I was 107KG when I got home Sunday night

Personally, I think they may have been a KG or sligltly more light. Everyone made weight easily, even Owen, and he is built like a tank!

yeah i thought i heard you say you were light. i no a few guys were bang on 105kg. Craig gave me a good idea last night which i will now do at every comp. before i weigh in i will put a 20kg plate on the scales and if it comes up at 20kg i will weigh in, if not i want to see the scales adjusted and everyone weigh in again. This is one mistake i will not make again. It was bugging me all day how i lost 2kg overnight. I just thought i would see if anyone else thought they weighed in lighter.
