Help me rescue my Insulina. Member 5366, 1090 posts | If it's on an evening, eat a decent breakfast and then nothing all day, it'll leave you really hungry but won't give your stomach chance to shrink. Drink water or juice, nothing fizzy as it will gas you up. Maybe neck a few shots beforehand to give you that boozy appetite boost without using critical stomach space. Don't attack it too fast, there's a limit to how much you can handle. That said DO NOT take your time, you have a 20 minute window to pack away as much as possible before the pain starts to kick in. I would attack the inner pizza first, it's moist and will go down easier whilst it's still hot and the cheese is melty. Leave the crusts till afterwards, if you f**k about with crusts you'll just dry your mouth out and need to keep drinking. Make sure you have sauce on hand (if allowed) to get the crust down after the inner pizza. If not, try to keep your mouth moist whilst drinking as little as possible. | ||

DO NOT EAT instantly, it will burn the roof of your mouth, and you'll struggle, let it cool a little . | ||

Use water. Pre-contest, drink around 8 litres of water a day, but make sure you use electrolytes. Do this in the few days leading up to increase stomach capacity. Also, you could try eating a massive pizza at home, and train yourself to fight through that sick feeling. Follow this up with a litre of coke and try not to throw up. If you must, hold it down for as long as possible. Don't worry about making a mess. Stand up, and just go fking nuts, cramming in as much as you can, as quickly as you can. Definitely no fizzy drinks as the gasses will indeed fill you up. | ||
