A definite answer with blanket accuracy? No, mate.
I have a few rules I try to stick to and keep my athletes to.
Actively seek out fats from natural sources, that haven't been chemically modified or heat treated.
Actively avoid any processed foods that have had fats added to them during the process.
Try to balance sat / unsat ratios at 50:50 regardless of total quantities.
To give you an idea, a typical day's meals for me might looo like this (only listing fat relevant foods)
Breakfast. 4 large eggs, 50gr grated mozzarella
Shake. Fat only from whole milk (more to do with digestion than avoiding fat itself)
Lunch. 200gr Tuna steak. Coconut oil (cold pressed). Peanut butter (whole).
Tea. 250gr Chicken thighs. 85% dark chocolate. Almonds.
So as you can see, I try to get a variety, but certainly not shying away from fat! It currently makes around 30-35% of my total energy consumption.

How do you prepare (cook?) tuna and peanut butter? As much as I like both of them I can't imagine having them together.

Oh no, tuna is usually with something like rice and kale, the peanut butter is pudding lol (usually scooped with celery!)

I never said there was anything wrong, I know that sat/trans fats are far worse than cholesterol. My reasoning was I seem to recall been taught (OK I'm probably wrong Roll-Eyes ) That a healthy diet should contain no more than 300mg/day whereas 11 eggs contains over 2g.

So you're not allowed to eat two eggs, because that will go over your 300mg before you've even had anything else?

I hope you're drinking lots of water and eating whatever enough fibre is?

A ripped anus is no laughing matter.

i do love eggs. great substitute but generally slightly more expensive per kilo of protein. I would reguarly eat 6-10 eggs for an omelette, scrambled etc.

like others have said the cholesterol argument is very old news and generally you're usually worse off with a high refined sugar diet than high in decent fat.

i tend to find beef mince, whole chicken, joints, bacon and sausages, you get more for your money. mostly around 20-30% protein at around £5-£7 a kilo which works out at £16-£35 per kilo of pure protein. Eggs are 6g-7g per egg and decent eggs are between 13-20p each which works out £18-£33 per kilo of pure protein.

But i'm a bit sad and try and save money on food as i already spend £100 a week on food.

also, my snacks of choice are similar to Macca! i eat nuts and pork scratchings all the time!

peanut butter and ryvita is pretty good aswell as when you mix grains like rice, wheat etc with a nut, seed or bean you get a complete protein meal. (plus the fibre helps if you're eat alot of meat)

like i said, i love eggs. But varying your diet is usually a good call.

thing is dietary cholesterol has little impact on bodily cholesterol so long as your not being a retard with other factors

ive had my bloods taken and had the best blood results ive had eating 24eggs a day

Id say: eat eggs when you want higher fat contents, eating it in place of chicken or white fish isnt smart but fattier meats go for it and you know what to drop if your weight increases too much...
