Are we sure Jerry was raw? I wasn't close enough to see but thinking about it now, I didn't see any sorting it before or after like Benni or Eddie

My favourite new to the sport comment was about Benni's suit. 'What the f**k is he wearing? A mankini?' Said in full seriousness

Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but was anyone else not disappointed to see droves of folk leave once the 'Eddie Hall show' was complete ?
I was sat towards the back and had a decent view of the numerous pockets of red seats appear.
Shame not more were present to see Loz achieve what he did.

Certainly was a few leavers, but 90%+ of people did not leave

I hope so.
250kg log would be in the same league as a 500kg deadlift. But i don't think anyone is determined to focus so hard on log lift.
But i think eddie is good for a 230kg strict log.
His pressing is ridiculously strong with incline paused 225kg for 7 reps

Hall seems to have tricep issues with log atm so says himself he doesn't train it. He strict pressed 220kg log in feb 2015 but passed out before he could get his head through. His arms were locked IMO.

Much as i love Ed i just dont see it this way.

With his inability to push press i think he will always struggle to be number 1. Guys like Hixxy and Page are the likely future of British and World log records. After his 8 reps with 160 id possibly add Kaliszkowski to that list as well.

I'm basically agreeing with you mate - Hall admits he isn't the best at log but also says he doesn't train it. Regardless, 220 to locked arms with no leg drive is unreal. Put Hall in a high incline bench with any implement and see 240+ go overhead though.

Spoke to Radz a few months back
He's considering competing less and gaining some weight
He could be the one to hit 250 in that case
He certainly has the power, only needs a bit core strength to hold it

If he went all out and got up to 165kg+ body weight he'd be ridiculously statically strong. I could see a huge log then.

Today I got "yeh but he was wearing straps" im telling ya now if i put straps on im not gunna pull 500kgs.Id be lucky to pull an extra 15kgs.
Do people think straps are a direct feed of testosterona and insulina through the palms?!
