Member 899, 11368 posts SQ 180, BP 132.5, DL 190502.5 kgs @ 118kgs UnEq | Speed box squats: 10 sets of 2 reps @ 65KG Speed deadlift: 6 sets of 2 reps @ 85kg Cleans: This was hilarious. Cleaning bars is not like cleaning bags of sand. I had all of the oly lifters in the gym tutting and shaking their heads at my awful technique haha. I f**kin' loved it. 1 set of 5 with 80 kilos 1 set of 5 with 75 kilos 1 set of 5 with 60 kilos One of the lifters told me to whap on 40 after that and practice using the hook grip and spinning my wrists under the bar much faster. Something to work on over time I think. Box jumps: 1 set of 10. I'm getting higher at the box jumps every week. | ||

They're feeling a bit better today so I'm gonna give them a session later on tonight at the end of my dynamic effort upper. Having great fun so far man! | ||

The Overhead press was a little comical because I'd burnt out my delts and tris on the close grips. After the work out, my shoulders and arms were fried. I have my last day of the week ahead of me tomorrow. Heavy lower body day. Then I get to rest until Tuesday. | ||

Front squat: worked up to a set of 5 with 95kg Deadlift: Worked up to a set of 5 with 150kg Stiff leg deadlifts: 3 sets of 10 with 90kg Standing calf raises: 3 sets of 10 with 100kg Cant believe I forgot my plan. What a dufus! | ||

Couldn't get a spotter to do 3 board press so did 1 set of 8 reps at 75kg 1 set of 8 reps at 80kg 1 set of 5 reps at 90kg Barbell bent over rows: Couldn't get using the pullup bar so had to row. 3 sets of 5 at 100kg Lateral dumbell raises: Using my special secret kung fu superstressful technique. 3 sets of 8 reps at 10kg I then did a massive stretching session as my flexibility isn't what it used to be. This problem needs addressed. | ||

She thinks that she can jerk more weight overhead than I can. I might not be an Oly lifter....but that aint gonna happen sista'! | ||

Watch the 59 kilo class of the next Commonwealth games and you'll have your answer. She's a high level athlete and she's in great shape, especially the leg cannons.Dynamic upper body day. Front crawl pool sprints: 20 lengths with between 10 and 20 seconds rest between lengths. I felt like I was gonna be sick in the shower after these which was f**king brilliant haha! Speed bench: 8 sets of 2 reps at 60kg Velocity is better than I ever remember it. Close grip Benchpress: 3 sets of 8 reps at 60kg These really fry my triceps but I love the feel of the form. It almost feels mechanical. Seated Shoulderpress: 3 sets of 8 reps at 45kg The last rep of the last set took about 8 seconds to complete. Barbell Rows: Nugget boy forgot all about these tonight because his head was up his arse. I’ll do them tonight at home. Dragon flags: 2 reps. I feel even more tired than yesterday doing these. Maybe I’ll stick to twice a week with these badboys. I did loads of abs yesterday anyway. Tomorrow is Heavy lower body. Bring that s**t on, motherf**kers! haha | ||
