Thinking aesthetics as I can't/shouldn't be squatting heavy due to knee problems, so been having lots of fun killing my quads with relatively light weights. | ||

Start with 30 reps of just the bar at the end of every Squat day and each session add 2.5kg. See how far you can take it. | ||

I wouldn't attempt it on my own in my shed just in case I were to pass out or lose balance. I'd have a go with the reassurance of having a few beefy boys about to manhandle me back to life if I were to collapse. I'm doing lighter higher rep stuff these days and regularly squatting 120-130 for 10-15 reps. | ||

I still weigh circa 90 despite this so must be maintaining some muscle mass. I just enjoy food too much to get that freaky veiny look. | ||
