I just dont get it, should i stretch, roll, what? What is mobility?! Confused Confused

should i stretch my hips to hit a deeper recieve position in the snatch, or do leg swings and other mad s**t like that?

how long should i do it for and when?

boring s**t but im determined to do it well!

i currently 'dynamic' warm up before i lift, then roll and static stretch on a night, but could i be doing it more productively or should i do more? lol

Mike Boyle said today in a S&C conference in Dublin to make rolling and stretching part of your process.

Roll, stretch, warm up, lift, condition, in that order.

As a minimum, roll and stretch one day per week for every decade of life.

Kelly Starrets book 'How to become a supple Leopard' is pretty well regarded. I'm trying to work my way through it but while it does seem really good, mobility is f**king boring!

mail me- markhodgson887@gmail.com if you would like further info on where to find it Wink

Mobility is for joints, flexibility is for muscles, I think the exact definition is. A joint is mobile, not flexible. A muscle is flexible, not mobile.

All the best guys in the world "warm up" and "cool down", doing whatever helps them personally. Some people swear by static stretching, other people do it only at the end, some not at all.

But hey, its all just advice.

Didn't read all your post. I personally have found that a little bit of rolling and a lot more static stretching has given me best results with the weightlifting Owen.
