Heres my list: Scotlands Strongest Man Qualifier Scotlands Strongest Team Unit 20 2008 (If Im allowed to defend my title ) Another Comp held by Stewart Murray Also depending how I get on at the qualifier, obviously planning on qualifying, this will give me the Scottish Final and also depending how I get on there could be the British or the UKs. Oh, and apparently the SSM Finals are going to be...TELEVISED

I guess same is true for you Thing since you won the shetlands last year? My plan is to not to do any english novices any more, though still do some scottish ones Just to explain: in england if you place high in novice comps, you should move to opens, in scotland only when you win a novice comp you are not allowed to enter them any more, and they call everything novice apart from the SSM etc national level comps, or if otherwise specified. So there are some really heavy and hardcore comps they call "novice". Good comps in scotland, like Fraserburgh last year, that was a fantastic comp and would be great to do that again if it is organised. but my strongman comps: uk strongman north qualifiers (not the same than uks strongest man) mick goslings open comp some other random comp unit 20 comp for sure and then NW Open Powerlifting comp, and maybe manchester & district to nail an equipped comp as well for the hell of it.

When I first started 20months ago I thought that I woud be doing more than 3 'novice' comps before I moved on up to the national level. Although I have lost the chance of doing maybe 2/3 'novice' comps each year [Fraserburgh, Dunfries, Unit 20(May try to do this to defend the title )] I have expanded by comps in terms of the qualifier this year, I plan on qualifying [I think this would make me the youngest to ever qualify?], then Ive got the final and the Scottish Team Event. Stuart Murray will be doing another comp and also there is the chance of the British or the UKs. Its just trying to get as many in as possible, and just see what happens
