JC has summed it up really, Diasbled sport is less entertaining and has a lower level of competition and standard so less people care about it than able bodied sport which is why I thought success in it might not be as important to Uk sport. Disablist! I knew it!

Trump will get another four years Member 126, 16707 posts SQ 160, BP 110, DL 225495.0 kgs @ 75kgs UnEq | Paralympic sports deserve funding because disabled people face discrimination in every sector of society. Disabled people need successful role models and the general public need to see that disabled people are more than just their disability. That, with the right support, they can contribute to society just the same as the rest of the population. We are a world leader in Paralympic sport and I like to think that that might promote equality for disabled people in other countries too. I think these reasons are all far more important than whether joe blogs prefers to watch usain bolt or jonnie peacock running.
