I try to get the fats in too as per the book. Cheeses, bacon, oil, cream etc.. I think I might need more though. I need to get some MCT/Coconut oil as well Grin

the coconut oil is nice aint it, think MP stopped doing it though ffs, aye don't be frightened to bang loads of fats in if the carbs are at literally zero Mark.

Mark Bell certainly looks in good nick following a pro/fat diet...

They enforce the bag rule but i still use chalk no problems, even had a few PTs come chatting whilst i was using it and didn't say a word.

I don't throw it about though, try and keep it in my little Tupperware box Grin

Week 1 of build up tonight for squats n deads at Ralls.

Day 10 of no carbs, which means tonight is carb nite, boom! Been feeling tired and lethargic all day!

Squats

30 x 10
80 x 10
100 x 5
130 x 5
155 x 8
155 x 8

100 x 6
110 x 6
120 x 6

Still working on my new style. Was going for 10s on top set but this no carbs thing meant I was gassed out at 8! The additional 3 sets were fast and snappy.

Deadlift

75 x 5
125 x 3
175 x 1
192.5 x 8
190 x 8

Bar was mis-loaded for me on one side for first set by 2.5kg, I thought it didn't feel right lol!

A decent if not tiring session. Carb nite has seen me have my shake intra workout then a post workout carby one, followed by a dominos pizza and garlic bread, doughnuts and some ice cream.. I'm too full to eat anymore now and I'm in bed!!

Yeah I do have some of that mate. It's more the bag thing that's annoying! I hardly go there so may just quit!

is it liquid form or the congealed type, call it oil but its hard...useit for frying n stuff.

Good stuff bud, the body will get used to the lack of carbs soon enough!

If it gets too rough maybe use pre workout and post workout carbs then pro/fat fro rest of meals?

This won't work for what he is trying to do - He just needs to man up a bit.

Mark, your carb refeeds need to be over at least a 6 hour period to trigger the desired hormone response.

If you're doing this again (your reefed) before training, then make sure you have a pre workout meal containing plenty of carbs at around 4pm and then you can be sipping an intra workout shake throughout your workout to make sure you don't crash.

Then when you get home it will be game on for a few more hours Cool

I'm man'd up! I'm not whining, I'm quite enjoying the diet!

I know it needs to be longer Macca but I got in at 9 last night and was knackered, plus I struggled to eat much!! I think I will have to start eating the carbs earlier like you say, before training if it falls on a training day, or just from 4-5 then on a normal day. Problem when I'm training though is that I'll be driving from 4ish upto Leeds...

I like it Mr Macca, I like it. I did eat lots of rice cakes a bit ago when bulking (getting fat)!
