That being said, I agree with the point already made that it looks like you need to be 6' 5" plus and over 170k to be in with a shout of being at the top. Somebody said last year that Shaw is the evolution of strongman, now with the likes of Jenkins and Thor that looks all the more true. Would be interested to hear peoples views on if that is the way they want to see the sport evolve?

I watched it too(or maybe 99) and I'm pretty sure the heats had 2 medleys, nothing that mad, but Ahola streaks ahead, and all the huge guys are left trailing also remember one medly that had about 4 elements, inluding a hummer push? definately events where being 200+ would be prohibitave and not advantagous!

I agree in essence with Martin, however, if it was at the weights Ahola could shift, it would be VERY light for Shaw, and therefore not anywere near as taxing!

And 160 farmers which Pudz absolutely stormed. What else was there? I don't remember. Arm over arm.
