He would have performed well/decent on the tyre carry and truck pull i think. Probably the frame carry too.

interesting to see there's an almost perfect correlation between perfomance on stones and bodyweight

Probably just as likely, or more likely, related to height I'd say.

yeah i was thinking of the general size of them being an advantage, as I don't know their heights

If you look at the placings, it's not precisely tallest to shortest, but there's a definite correlation. It's probably wingspan more than them finding it easier to load to the higher platforms imo.

In my heart big Z is still the man 442k deadlift and ten reps with 160k log, that's super human, I struggle to comprehend that madness
Big shaw is the champ and he deserved it fair play, but that's big Z 4th second place at world that's tough on the big man but testiment to his consistency.
Congrats shaw, congrats Terry and congrats loz.
I honestly though this was tel's year had he had a bit of luck with frame and better truck who knows what would have happened.

I think he could have won last year but think this year it would maybe be a bit too heavy, not sure.

Awesome performances from everyone, well done guys.

I said:I reckon Z might win the deadlift, and the log

however Shaw come 3rd(behind Terry) on the dead, and 3rd or 4th on the log, so he will still take it on the stones

I was pretty close
