Dislocated fingers or not. Ed isn't beating that man at WSM, when he's in that form. I was thinking he looked good for 20 reps too! Much fitter than Ed on the deadlift. If Z could beat Shaw at WSM, then in theory Ed could too. Can't see it happening though.

If Ed improves, then he can Win. But I have a feeling he is happy enough to win deadlift championships.

Hes a very real threat. The guys a monster and showed how easy he can make this look whilst working a full time job on set!

This is why i think Shaw will stay ahead of Thor. Thor may well have the tools to beat Brian, but he isnt as committed to the sport. Shaws whole life is built around being the WSM, no other top strongman is as committed to winning the top title.

I think that's Shaws key. I remember a few years back when Eddie went to WSM without ever training events, compare that to Shaw who said he was confident in the keg toss because he'd been doing practise runs at home with a higher bar and heavier keg.

It will be interesting. Thor has got Sebastian Oreb doing his programming and Stan efferding doing his diet and nutrition now. Shaw has also been cast in a film with Thor I believe

AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5208 posts | Thor is already the strongest man to never win the title. Hope he doesn't retire with that. He has great all round ability.

AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5208 posts | Did Thor start younger than Shaw? If Thor is motivated, he will definitely win titles.
