He's never had back strength like he's posted up recently (440+?) and whilst he may not have the benefit of youth against the rest of the field he has superior experience over most of the other entries. Not necessarily competition experience, but experience of himself. Whilst you do lose attributes as you age if you are realistic you can gain a kind of confidence in yourself that only comes with age. From the little I've seen Terry is waking this walk. I wouldn't surprised to see him coming second behind Brian.

Mr.Potato deadlift Member 2675, 4767 posts SQ 300, BP 202.5, DL 300802.5 kgs @ 110kgs UnEq | My prediction without seeing events first is 1 Shaw 2 Thor 3 Eddie 4 Z I like Shaw but I wouldn't mind seeing Thor or Eddie win it for a change

I am from Germany so i know what i talk about. Member 5171, 1049 posts SQ 217.5, BP 160, DL 233.5611.0 kgs @ 83kgs UnEq | If terry comes in best shape he could be a top contender for deadlift. He could also win truckpull. So we'll see it's going to get really interesting

End of an era. Member 4646, 1964 posts | I feel that athletes that don't do the Arnold's can get left behind. They could throw in a 170kg log for reps, a 500kg yoke, a 120kg dumbbell etc..but the Arnold athletes are used to these weights. The Arnold's has moved yoke and dumbbell to a ridiculous level.

I remembered seeing savickas strict pressing the 90kg! dumbbell at the asc a couple of years ago and the people were in awe. Now they are lifting 46kg more! It's alien like.

not stating facts. Member 3100, 502 posts | The top 3 will be z, Shaw and thor again. Not sure in what order though. I really can't see Terry breaking the top 5. He's injury prone and will probably be near last in the pressing.
