Damn, he *just* missed his second as well. Unhappy

On his first he seemed to squat lower than he has been on his Instagram posts over recent months. Didn't seem to go quite as deep on the second so maybe the first just took a lot out of him?

Yeah, I thought the 380kg was his opener as I missed the 360kg.

I wished it was a bit more like weightlifting when a lifter's done and dusted normally within the space of 15-minute due to the rising bar.

I can't see that working well in PL - oly lifts in terms of maximal force and time under tension are much lower and nothing like as draining on the nervous system as a 5 second grinder with 350kg on your back. general rule is to stick to around 15 mins per attempt and organisers will even insert a break if a flight is small to allow this.

Oh, I fully appreciate why they don’t do it. The comment was purely made from a selfish position of wanting to see Tom lift and then crack on with my day.
