Limited spaces, he mentioned 15 as the cut off point Valhalla will be hosting a show of strength. This will be held on paignton green in SW Devon on Saturday August 13th as part of the yearly regatta celebrations. The events list isnt fully confirmed but will be basically as shown below. Weights tbc but they will be HEAVY so train hard to put on a damn good show! All proceeds will go to aid the Motor Neurone disease association. Prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd places up to the value of £500. I myself will compete, but just for fun, my placing/points wont count overall! Events: 1. coach pull 2. Yoke race 3. Log for reps 4. Medley (tyre flip, car flip, stone carry and load) 5. Circus dumbell for reps 6. Lorry tyre partial deadlift for reps or last man standing 7. Like I said originally I was asked to post this up on behalf of a mate of mine who doesn't frequent the forums. Chances are that, given that he doesn't post on here, he hasn't heard of the Valhalla Festival and ESM being held there. | ||

I'm only doing this one cos it's down the road from my house, lol.I normally sit around 110-115 so if I do ever decide to do strongman I'd just diet to 105kg. | ||

This comp will be in a prime spot on the green next to the beach. Everything will be done to make this a great comp & make sure it runs as well as poss.
