I agree it's good for bigger hand guys but then again the frames they use at wsm good for smaller hand guys. I would personally say if wanted grip event for max do one hand deadlift on olympic bar but i think oh axle is fine. A lot of people use axles now and easy to understand the difficulty.

Worlds Strongest Man u90kg Member 1137, 2099 posts SQ 285, BP 170, DL 312.5767.5 kgs @ 89kgs UnEq | I'm gratefull that this is finally being put on, however, if we are paying for flights, accommodation and food, why is the entry fee so steep? Especially if its in a venue that isn't suitable for moving events?

Especially if its in a venue that isn't suitable for moving events? James, TBF, the venue for our final was fantastic (it was like a little theatre, produced a great atmosphere).....and would have been really rather expensive I'd imagine Also for 105s the prize money was decent, so thats an additional expense I know Dan Cave didnt go because of the researvations you have

There were 28 guys in the 105s, 3 of them were from South Africa...do you honestly expect him to be able to pay flights and/or accomodation for 28 guys (the Saffies had paid A LOT of money for their flights) In addition to that there were approx 10 heavy women, 10 lightweight women and 15-20 u80s?

Especially if its in a venue that isn't suitable for moving events? You think 50EUR is steep?? All I read on here from strongman competitors is either complaints about events, complaints about entry fees and how much it is going to cost for you to eat and travel and complaints about each other. You don't pay a membership fees to a federation and you all seem to expect to get events coaching for free. From what I can tell, a lot of promoters put on these comps for the love of the sport and make nothing from them. In some cases, it is clear that organizers lose money. What do you think a fair entry fee would be?
