You don't have to flex. If not flexing means that you can compete in a category lower then do that, however if you are in a certain category whether you flex or not, then you may as well flex.

I would have said to NOT flex, so if there's a tie you'll win by virtue of having smaller gunz.

DomRedshaw - we need to buy repboards to stand a chance of getting money back?

if you have two lifters in the Beretta category for example, and they both have the same number of reps, then we will look at the time it took to complete the reps.

No man in history that has checked his arm size has ever thought I'll count the unflexed measurement until money is involved so it should be flexed!

the reason i asked initially was i thought it may be tricep size as its more relevant to benching.

I agree, ideally it should be flexed, but as this is a on-line video comp I have no way of knowing if the lifter is flexing or not, so rather than disputes over whether lifters were flexing or not in their entries, I thought it would save hassle by just allowing lifters to not flex. What do you think?

The fairest way to categories lifters is obviously on bodyweight, but again I have no way of monitoring this as it's too easy to manipulate the weight on the scales.

The first board you add to your chest is 6cm, then each board you add is 4cm, so the top height (4 boards) is 18cm
