I would like to look better than ed in a singlet.

it is practically impossible to look worse than me in a singlet , you need to set you sights higher , you could be a short bald Pagan with a bit of fake tan.Happy

Session 1

Squat

  • 80kg x 6
  • 100kg x 6
  • 115kg x 3
  • 100kg x 8

felt ok , legs a bit more tired than usual , probably getting used to the minor amount of jogging I am making them do.

benchPress

  • 70kg x 6
  • 80kg x 6
  • 85kg x 4
  • 75kg x 6

85 x 4 is some sort of rep PB

Military press

  • 40kg x 10
  • 40kg x 10
  • 50kg x 5
  • 40kg x 8

a bit down on last time I did these , not much though

hanging leg raise

  • 10
  • 10
  • 10
  • 10

this is week 1 of 'don't eat like a hefalump' and I'm not expecting any rapido gains from here on in ..... steady as she goes etc

I think steady is the best I can hope for , if I rush things ....something will snap city !!

Actually, I 'DID A NED' and kinda twinged something at work .... not my back, but a muscle near my back .... I think being tired from lifting leaves the small stabilising muscles open to pulls/strains ...anyhoo .....I just did very basic 1 lift deadlifts today

Session 2

Deadlift

  • 100kg x 5
  • 120kg x 2
  • 130kg x 1
  • 140kg x 1
  • 150kg x 1

Decided not to rep as I wanted to remain fully braced and repping seems to be an open invitation to let it slip at some point in the movement

beltless , no problems with back

kettlebell Bent over row

  • 28kg x 16 (8 per side)
  • 28kg x 16 (8 per side)
  • 28kg x 16 (8 per side)
  • 28kg x 16 (8 per side)

upright row

  • 20kg x 10
  • 25kg x 10
  • 25kg x 10
  • 20kg x 10

instead of KB shoulder press

hanging leg raise

  • 10
  • 10
  • 10
  • 10

did these to get a nice back stretch

Session 1

Squat

  • 80kg x 6
  • 100kg x 8
  • 110kg x 6
  • 100kg x 8

decided to start using my belt from now on

benchPress

  • 70kg x 6
  • 80kg x 3
  • 90kg x 1
  • 95kg x 1 PB

decided on low reps today.

Military press

  • 40kg x 5
  • 50kg x 3
  • 55kg x 1
  • 62.5kg x 1 PB

a grinder !! and I'm happy to get a PB .... 120 strict press ? never !!

KB side bends

  • (2x)16kg x 10
  • (2x)16kg x 10
  • (2x)16kg x 10
  • (2x)16kg x 10

these were to give my side bits a workout

HOT !! but glad I did it as it will probably be as hot tomoz and I will be tired from work....

I have booked the 11th November off work as I believe Powerpalooza will be run over 2 days ..... now the tricky bit ..... I will be at work the day the competition entries open and will have to rely on THE WIFE to enter on my behalf !!

so I may be competing as a 120kg M3 lady
