I used to be a pretty competitive power lifter for a few years 2010-2013 and had a woeful crack at u105 strongman along the way until Work, family and injuries got in the way to much. Ive been out of the game since 2014 just doing the occasional workout a week. Recently had surgery (Nov) to my left shoulder to fix a few problems, tears etc from my younger reckless lifting years which has been a success. Physio is done and strength training is now in full swing. Hopefully having a Log like I used to will keep me motivated to to the best I can. Recent lifts have been Squat - 175 x 1 Front Squat - 130 x 1 Deadlift - 200 x 3 15” Deadlift - 240 x 1 18” Deadlift - 180 x 8 Frame - 200 for a few pick ups Farmers - 105 a hand for 10’s holds Push press - 90 x 1 Strict press - 60 x 5 Circus DB - 40 x a few on each arm (left not good) | ||

No aims as yet just enjoy training and get back to a more competitive overall strength level. May compete after that but it would be at an open weight class. | ||

Did the job but made the weights feel very heavy. Still moved well enough. Front Squats 60 x 5 80 x 3 Add belt 100 x 1 120 x 1 132.5 x 1 110 x 3 18” Deadlifts 100 x 5 140 x 3 Belt on 180 x 1 220 x 1 Suit on 250 x 1 235 x 3 Sandbag over bar (shoulder height) 10 loads x 90kg bag | ||

Log clean and press 70 x 5 singles 80 x 1 90 x 1 Left it there as I didn’t want to push the shoulder. Although when it finally got warmed up it started to feel ok. 80 x 3 (clean and press each rep) 70 x 8 (clean and press each rep) SSB Squats 65 x 5 105 x 3 145 x 1 180 x 1 105 x 3 x 5sec paused reps | ||

Pressing is coming back really well. | ||
