What is the best way to 'treat' them?

Leave them to dry and scab or use sudacream or something similar?
Or do something completely different?
Also how long til it f**ks off?!?! Grin

Thanks!

Mine never actually leave lol, but i have never really ripped them off while training only when i was messing around in a climbing wall. I have found a hot bath will soften them then i guess you could rub them down?

I ripped it off doing farmers yesterday, so ped egg or filing etc wont work.

Probably should have worded question better.... How can i get a badly torn off callous that i have already ripped off too heal quicker so i deadlift etc faster?

And benchlust, thanks for the very helpful post.....

rip off any flap or loose skin around it and leave it mate. dont cover it up or put any s**t on it.

tape it up as best you can while you train so you dont make it worse. they dont take long to heal up.

Ripped mine last week mate and was OK to deadlift 6 days later all be it with straps. Did start to tear a bit more on farmers though.

As Kev has said cut it off.

When I tore mine I used extra chalk on things like deadlift. They didn't seem to bother me really and dried up in about a week

Not sure if you do this previous to comp, but i always used to file my hands down of any rough/dead skin with a millinicut file(rough wood file) or a sharp craft blade.

Always worked for me pre-comp pal , not really answering the current question, but prevention is always a good thing!Wink Hope this helps sort off?

If anyone tells you to use new skin you should punch them! Was suggested to me and hurt like hell.

Just cut the loose skin off and leave them! They will dry up pretty quick and give it a week-9days and you are good to go.
