90kg X 2
90kg X 2

It makes me feel better writing the above, rather than: 90kg X 2 (10 sets)

Cheers Jonny!

The numbers are going up quite quickly as some of my previous strength returns and I'm feeling a LOT stronger, overall, than I have done in a while.

Wednesday 9th September

Bit of a bad session tonight. Not shocking but less than what I'd hoped for.

Push Press

bar X lots
60kg X 5
90kg X 2 - was going to go to 92.5kg or 95kg for 6-8 doubles but 90kg felt more like 100kg.
90kg X 2
90kg X 2
90kg X 2
90kg X 2
90kg X 2

Left it there

130kg X 3
130kg X 3
130kg X 2f3 lost balance/I am very weak and had to dump it to the concrete Unhappy

Speed Deadlifts

140kg X 5
140kg X 5

Not happy again. Must just have had a weak week.

Wednesday 16th September

Push Press

bar X lots
60kg X 5
80kg X 2
90kg X 3
90kg X 3
90kg X 3
90kg X 2f3
90kg X 2f3

Should have completed both of those triplesAngry

Strict Press

60kg X 5

Comfortable enough (as you'd hope with that kind of weight on the bar)

Front Squat

100kg X 5

Just a quick go at fronties to finish

Cheers Jonny. As you can see, I'm keeping things very simple.

Midweek : Push pressing
Weekend : Squatting
Rep Range: 2-5
Sets: Normally between 5 and 8

I'm throwing in other bits and pieces but in terms of the serious stuff it's not much more than that.

It's a tiny amount of training compared to most on here but seeing as I wasn't training at all before I'm quite happy with it.

Looks like a decent plan to me, especially compared to sod all!

I could do with stepping things up. For example, a third session each week and more exercises but (like you said) it's a lot better than sod all.
