I guess they will claim their material is better or whatever but the concept is a copy. Although there are those who claim that the slingshot wasnt Mark Bells idea anyway, he copied it from someone else. In saying that though its one of those things, loads of companies make knee wraps that are virtually identical in design, just different materials, and Ive not heard them called a rip off.

Yeh i suppose thinking about it the first to make a bench shirt etc would have been copied and so on. Think it seemed worse because of the name too. We decided against both. As far as we were lead to believe there was no trademark/patent issues with them, at least outwith the U.S. If there's demand, we'll get them made, and they'll be cheaper than other suppliers.

And Wylie all of these things just rebound a little out of the bottom of dips pushups and benching which means its a bit like a reverse band bench (easier at the bottom, harder at the top)

Dunno if I'd personally use one but I can see how it'd help chaps with a lockout problem.

Other than training around injury I think the slingshot is like a knee wrap for the upper body. Adds kilos to your lift but not as much as a bench shirt.
