I think the time has come to start a new journal the old one was good but was was full of things from when I was a 105 and a lot to do with my injury and rehab and I feel I am over that now and want to leave it all in the past and start fresh

I have been invited to compete at the IPF classic this year and will be lifting on 15/06/2013 in Russia so all the training in this journal will be based around the build up to that comp

For the next few weeks the main focus will be to get my body weight down from 120 to 116 and then train at this bodyweight up until the classic and then ramp back upto 120 a few weeks before I fly out

So far my comp pbs at 120 are 265 squat, 177.5 bench and a 265 deadlift theres plenty of improvement to be made on these lifts so time to go to work

Time for a 14 week peaking cycle then, as per your discussion with DC!

Good luck mate.

Filthy harry hypertrophy!

Good luck with your goals. Just out of interest, why is it beneficial to lose 4kg now and then put it back on again before competing?

I suspect it's to help with the deads , many folk seem to find better form dropping a little weight, get in better positions "comfier" to reach the bar.

best of luck with the prep
