I really have. "As regularly as i can" clearly translates as i will totally neglect to do this at all.

As im one of the hated equipped lifters i make sure i dedicate most my year to raw training with the exeption of the last 6 weeks leading to a comp.

Last night i did this

squats low bar as always wide stance but not sumo as i do in a suit.
i warmed up to 200 with the intention of doing 5x5 i got to the 4th set and my knee swole up real bad. Old injury that wont leave. So i droped down to 155 and made it 6 reps.

Finished off with some leg extensions which i rarely do and now i feel like i cant walk.
all in all im pretty pleased.

Trainings taken a bit of a stall ive ruptured my glute.
Simply put ive ripped my arse off and am now a resident of snap city.

im hoping physio and HGH is the cure. But im guessing time will tell.

Man, please realise that I have every sympathy for you and hope your recovery is swift, but Jesus Christ a ruptured glute sounds hilarious! The actual description mind, not the obvious pain and discomfort that must go with it.

I hope your bum is mended soon.

Pain aside its impossible to hide the sheer comedy value of removing your arse from your body.

The combination of painkillers and muscle relaxants are making the whole experience more enjoyable mind.

Despite the ruptured arse ive managed to train thru it.
Benched flat last couple weeks and with little difference in performance. I managed a 140 for 5x5 followed by 3x1 of 150,160,160 which for me is a good session.
tomorrow ill be doing my first squat session light just to feel out the injury. Hoping to compete in august and have a lorry to pull on june so need to be back on it really.

Squating went well. Was able to get a lighter weight for reps. 110 for 8x5 not sure why 8 sets
I felt i could have gone heavier but i didnt want to risk anything at this early stage.

i tried a plate pinch to see what all the fuss was about. Harder then it looks!

Do you remember the floods? In Oxford? Do you remember the boy who got his foot stuck in the grate and the water kept rising… and kept rising… and kept rising… and they tried to get him out but eventually he drowned? Well, that wouldn’t have happened to me. Y’know why? Because I woulda said CUT IT OFF… NOW. What I’m trying to say is, is sometimes you’ve gotta cut a little piece of yourself off. No matter how much it hurts. In order to grow. In order to move on. D’you know what I mean?”

started my new 2x weekly benching today which also is that start of me being "off" for a while.
I used chains and it was very enjoyable worked up in sets of 5 from just chains (25kg each full weight about half way up) so 70 total up to 160. my triceps feel fried and the stability side of things has left my lats sore.
I ate £30 worth of dominos and can now barely move.

thanks for the encouragement. I feel the dominos helps hit the gains up and any lost calories thru exessive chain usage.

raw squats tonight felt tired so used some caffine and eff which is rare for me.
warmed up with various weights then some working sets of;
200 for 6 (lost count)
220 for 2 sets of 5 ( wraps on)
230 for 5
240 for 5

Felt good and happy with it as apparently you do 80% for 5.
time to cram as much food as i can in now and get my s**t ready for work tomorrow.
Also I have to see the inlaws tomorrow so I need to practise my pretend interested face.
