Good session Olly! Cracking on the farmers especially. Get your name down for the comp before it's too late - you know it makes sense Happy

Sounds like you all had a great session Grin

How did you find the yoke on your back? It really hurt mine when I did it - it felt like my spine was crunching on every step. Eek

Yeah, you did, again!

Wednesday 31st January

Had a couple of hours rock climbing this afternoon, nothing too strenuous but good fun never the less and pretty tough on the grip and lats.

Still pretty stiff going into this session so wasnt expecting too much but it turned into a brutal one! Great fun. Me and Joni pushed eachother pretty hard!

Deadlifts
60kg x 10,10
100kg x 5,5
140kg x 5
180kg x 3
200kg x 1
220kg x 1,1,1,1,1 - These were pretty terrible, but I deadlifted heavy on friday and with the farmers on sunday, I cant be too disappointed!

Rack Pulls - squat rack, step with 25kg plate
120kg x 8
170kg x 5
210kg x 5
230kg x 5
250kg x 5 - brutal!
210kg x 10

Machine Rows
Stack x 10
Stack+15kg x 10
Stack+25kg x 10
Stack+31kg x 10 - yet agin, brutal!

Finished off with 3 sets of 8 on the rear delt fly and a set of 8 bw squats. Awesome, awesome workout!

awesome indeed, in fact so awesome that you write "squats" instead of pullups because you did them in the squat rack Grin

Now EAT! Lets get strong!

Cheers guys, Ive been due some good training so lets see how long I can keep this up.

Sunday 4th February

Brutal Session over at the Dungeon today. Hit quite a few pb's (well improvements from last week at least). Well chuffed with the yoke and stones, these were much better this week. Not looking forward to getting up tomorrow thoughAngry

Log
70kg x 3
75kg x 1
80kg x 1
85kg x 1
80kg x 2
70kg x 4

The last two sets (80+70kg) were attempts at reps in 75 seconds. Needless to say these need a lot of work. I find this log so much harder than my log at home, very confident its due to the diameter of it. Still, it needs a lot of work.

Farmers
empty x 40m
70kg x 40m
100kg x 47m - turns @20+40m
100kg x 7m - bringing them back Grin
100kg x 40m then held for a short while, this set was much much faster

Yoke
130kg x 20m
210kg x 20m
230kg x 20m
210kg x 17m - bringing back the yoke after JM's set

Didnt drop the yoke once today, well I had a bir of a false start with the 230kg but that more becuase I jarred the back a bit. VERY happy with these today.

Stones
Managed to get both the 105+130kg stones on the very edge of the 48in platform which was a huge improvement from last week. We then dropped the platform down to 44in and I loaded the 105,130 and 140kg stones, although there were a few fails along the way. Still, thats a HUGE improvement.

All in all, great great session!
